Conrad Emil Lindberg (1852—1930) was an influential Lutheran theologian in both Sweden and the United States. He pastored congregations in Pennsylvania and New York, and later became a professor at Augustana College where he taught a large variety of courses. He served as vice president of that same college for a time, and was also elected vice president of the Augustana Synod. Throughout his career, Lindberg served as a leader for Swedish Lutherans on the East coast of the United States and published numerous books and articles.

His Christian Dogmatics and Notes on the History of Dogma is a theological textbook which summarizes the positions of Lutheran orthodoxy.
